Wylie PD to hold evening celebration for all
The annual community National Night Out celebration is set for Tuesday, October 1, and will be hosted as usual by the Wylie Police Department. Area residents and guests can expect to enjoy public safety displays and activities, free hot dogs, cotton candy, popcorn, snow cones and drinks, bounce houses, a barrel train, pony rides, face painting, and a brief fireworks finale at evening’s end.
Wylie Police and Wylie Fire Rescue personnel will be on hand to interact with the community. It all starts at 5:30 PM and runs until 8 PM in Olde City Park, in Historic Downtown Wylie (112 S. Ballard).
