St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital held its 10th Annual Houston Golf Classic in partnership with iHeartMedia and exceeded its goal by raising $435,556.

Following a day on the course, teams gathered with sponsors, honored guests, and tournament hosts for a luncheon program featuring testimonials by St. Jude patient Danielle’s family. The program also included a silent auction with great experiences, gifts, and awards for ‘Longest Drive’ and ‘Top Scorers.’ St. Jude Tournament Champions were Doug Hinson, Mark Corkrean, Jeff Henderson, and Anthony Johnson of Katy Plumbing, who scored -15.

“Our Houston-based St. Jude team is very grateful for the generosity of our supporters and donors in Houston and for the partnership with iHeart,” began Angela Garza, Executive Director of the St. Jude South Texas region. “Every donation to St. Jude allows us to fulfill the vision of our Founder Danny Thomas, to see that no family ever receives a bill for treatment, travel, housing, or food so they can focus on helping their child live.”
