Compassionate Care. Life-Changing Second Chances.
At Atlas Pet Vets in Frisco, Drs. Lauren and Daniel Anthony know pets are family. The husband-and-wife veterinarians built their practice around advanced medicine, personal attention, and compassion.
“Every decision we make is about doing what’s best for the pets and families who trust us,” says Dr. Daniel.
The AAHA-accredited, Fear Free Certified practice welcomes dogs, cats, and exotic pets. It offers preventive care, diagnostics, and surgery, along with rehabilitation using Class IV laser and underwater treadmill therapies.
But some animals have no family to bring them in. Local shelters and rescues may face difficult choices when animals have serious injuries, congenital conditions, or histories of neglect. Treatment can be unaffordable, and recovery can be long and uncertain. Many cases are extreme and complex medical needs may put these animals at risk of euthanasia.
To help, the doctors established the Atlas Pet Vets Medical Rescue Fund with the Veterinary Care Foundation. Atlas Pet Vets discounts diagnostics, treatments, and surgeries, and donates hospitalization during each animal’s care. The foundation approves community donations for remaining medical expenses.
“Some of the animals who need us most have injuries or illnesses so severe that their options are limited. We created this fund to help them get the advanced care they need and a real chance to heal and find a loving home,” says Dr. Lauren.
The doctors provide medical expertise. Donors, fosters, and adopters help animals recover and find loving homes. Together, they give vulnerable animals a second chance.
