Check out some fun facts about Big Red, then pop a top and enjoy discovering this fizzy, sweet-tasting beverage embedded in Texas’ culture.

  4. Its distinctive flavor is described as sweet with a light blend of vanilla and citrus. Some claim it has
a slightly spicy kick. Try some and decide for yourself.
  5. Big Red was the sixth best-selling soda in the U.S. in the 70s and remains popular throughout Texas
  6. San Antonio is home to the Barbacoa & Big Red Festival. This year it will take place October 7th

  9. Tipping its hat to what once was a soda pop rival, the Dr. Pepper museum in Waco includes a Big Red exhibit.
