Dr. Nidhi Jaiswal has always been fascinated with beautiful teeth and bright smiles. She knows the effect a smile can have on a person’s overall confidence and how they’re perceived by others. She and her team are thankful to be in the business of changing patients’ lives every day, creating new and improved smiles and helping them achieve excellent oral health.
The Allure of Dentistry
Dr. Jaiswal has a flair for artistry and an eye for detail —important skills needed in cosmetic and restorative dentistry, requiring meticulous precision. The decision to become a dentist was an easy one for her. She wanted to help others feel confident and happy about themselves by transforming their lives for the better. She realized the allure of dentistry would allow her that privilege. She learned consistency and perseverance from her parents. Working hard to reach her goals was at the core of her existence.
Practicing comprehensive dentistry enables Dr. Jaiswal to treat a multitude of oral health issues. Her practice offers everything from restorative fillings to dental implants. State-of-the-art technology and modern equipment are utilized to perform in-office procedures daily. “We do everything except periodontal treatment,” she says, affording convenience to patients with busy schedules.
“No Fear” Dental Office
She has left no stone unturned when it comes to patients’ ultimate comfort and relaxation. Starlite’s “no fear” dental office is modern and clean. The serene atmosphere feels more like a spa than a dental office. It provides the perfect setting for patients to relax and breathe in the aromatherapy essential oils diffused throughout the waiting area and office.
Dr. Jaiswal is proud to have a skilled team of hard working professionals. She feels blessed to be able to provide women a career in serving others. Every day, the Starlite team strives to provide patients with a first-class dental experience. They have helped bring Dr. Jaiswal’s vision of a “no fear” dental practice to life, tempering patients’ anxieties before they walk in the door.
The front office team welcomes each patient by phone before their appointment, gathering information on their level of comfort and past dental experiences. They explain what will take place during the initial appointment, helping to alleviate fear of the unknown. The clinical team has broad experience and extensive continuing education to provide advanced dental care in a comfortable environment.
When patients arrive, they are provided with a questionnaire, which helps the team ensure their visit is customized to meet their needs. They are led on a guided tour of the office and are introduced to the warm and welcoming Starlite team. Patients feel like they’ve just met old friends and are quickly assimilated into their new dental home.
Education and Credentials
Dr. Jaiswal has more than 17 years of experience in the dental field. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry in Richmond. She completed a two-year dental implants fellowship in studying every aspect of implant placement and restoration. Each year, she completes more than 200 hours of continuing education in dentistry, staying current with the latest trends, techniques, and advancements for providing cutting-edge treatment. The Addition of Cutting-Edge Equipment
Dr. Jaiswal has added the latest in dental equipment and technology to her office, including a 3D printer, sedation dentistry, and 3D scanning. Dentures, night guards, and restorations can now be printed in the office with the 3D printer that offers better accuracy and faster turnaround. Sedation dentistry has also been added, with an anesthesiologist on hand to safely administer sedation anesthesia and monitor the procedure. Dr. Jaiswal has also included the innovative iTero intraoral scanner, affording a digital 3D image of the teeth, used for braces and restorations.
Dr. Jaiswal has been recognized as a top dentist in Dallas and donates her time and resources to Frisco and McKinney middle schools for career day presentations. She is also the author of expert blogs on multiple patient-care websites devoted to increasing awareness for improved oral health and wellness.
Her commitment to patients’ well-being and relaxation does not go unnoticed. Some patients travel three to four hours for dental appointments with her. “I think that says a lot about me as a dentist, as well as my practice,” she said.
Countless positive reviews are confirmation of the team’s gentle and comforting approach. She hopes her pledge to provide patients with an elite level of care will change the way others feel about visiting the dentist. She endeavors to make every patient have both their teeth and their entire body feeling completely refreshed and renewed when leaving each appointment.
Dr. Jaiswal’s three children motivate her to be a better provider to her patients. “I’m transferring the legacy back to my kids and teaching them how to serve others in a compassionate way,” she says. Dr. Jaiswal and her husband, Dr. Neerav Jayaswal, who is also a dentist, spell their last names differently but pronounce it the same way. They were a former military family when Dr. Jayaswal was a captain in the U.S. Army. Both enjoy cooking together and dining as a family at their favorite restaurant, Chuy’s. Weekends are spent outdoors with their two active boys and their little girl, traveling to and from the kids’ many activities.
“I don’t think it would have been possible to be successful if I didn’t have the support of my team and community,” Dr. Jaiswal says. “The impact we have in changing someone’s life is the most rewarding part of dentistry.” The joy that a new smile can bring someone is beyond compare, and she’s happy to have helped so many people experience that.
